Members of the Kiwanis Club of Johnston reside in or are employed in the communities of Johnston, Des Moines, West Des Moines, Grimes, and Urbandale. Members are dedicated to supporting projects and initiatives that have an impact on our local community, central Iowa, the Nebraska - Iowa District and the World.

The success of the Kiwanis Club of Johnston comes from the dedication and participation of its members. Club members support the work of the club by attending meetings, volunteering for community service projects and participating in fundraising activities.

Our Mission

Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children. Kiwanis strives to be a positive influence in communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive. Our Kiwanis club fulfills the Kiwanis mission by serving our community through Kiwanis Community Service Projects
